Southland Ballet Academy is the official school of Southern California’s renowned

 Festival Ballet Theatre.  Founded in 1983 by Salwa Rizkalla, SBA cultivates the

 education and appreciation of classical ballet for both beginning students and

 professional dancers.  SBA’s vision is to perpetuate the discipline and technique of

 the Russian Vaganova method of classical ballet combined with the articulation of the

 American style in order to give a unique artistic experience to dancers of all ages.
